Last day of classes, what?

It is finally here - our last day of undergraduate classes is tomorrow! I am still in disbelief, where have the past four years gone? I remember the feeling after setting up my room in the dorm my first day on campus and I feel like I returned home from my studies in Tilburg only this past summer, I truly can not believe we are done. Done being said in a broad sense, I have two finals next week and a paper to turn in... and fingers crossed I'll find my way back onto a campus before too long. But really, I have never entered a summer without knowing I'll return to school the following fall, this is weird. Really weird. I feel like I miss school already; who cares if I have homework on the weekends, at least I can have short days during the week and determine the amount of effort I need to put in to pass a class without the threat of getting fired like I would in a work setting! Oh boy, change is a coming - lets hope I'm ready for it! At least I have a few months to digest this, actually maybe five! haha Last I heard from Moss Adams, a November 2nd start date is looking more and more likely.

On to other things I have a layout to share and hopefully more to come if I don't have to study too hard this weekend. Last weekend was busy, busy. Friday I was pampered; a facial, a pedicure and a little wedding hair prep. Which by the way Amy did a beautiful job and I'm really excited! Then Saturday was Liam's 1st birthday party and the first time we went out to see Kim (my sister) and Ryan's new home. It was amazing to see how much Liam has grown since I saw him last, and Braeden's personality is just getting stronger by the day. It was really nice being able to spend the afternoon with family and hopefully we'll be able to do it again next month for Braeden's 4th birthday! :) Then Sunday Amy and I walked from my home on Lake Washington to downtown Seattle for the Pike Place Market Festival. We made pretty good time and treated ourselves to some tasty croissants, chocolate nonetheless, at the end. And when you think I couldn't possibly fit anymore in a weekend, Sean and I managed to go throw some football Sunday afternoon in an attempt to avoid homework. Yep, it was a pretty good weekend, no complaints here.

Today: Journaling reads, "The day just started out right...a little vanilla latte from Starbucks, some great finds (finally!) at the Gap and a little one on one time with my babe. After our morning adventures we returned to Penelope and took a walk to our favorite place, Maggie. Plop listened so well one might think we trained her! :) We finished off our day spending the afternoon with family to celebrate Liam's 1st birthday. 05.30.09" I lifted the layout from Stephanie Howell (my new favorite blogger) and the title is a prompt for a challenge at Back Porch Memories. I obviously used my cricut, A LOT - you know I'm going to get my money worth, or Sean's at least! :)
