Graduation No. 1.

I'm done, more or less, and graduation was this afternoon! Even as we were on our way to UW I was thinking to myself, 'why am I going through this silly graduation' - but I must admit I am glad I went. It was a really good end to my experience here at UW, hearing myself be referred to alumni for the first time brought an accomplished smile to my face. I've always been a bit opposed to change but I feel like I'm taking this one with stride and must say I'm proud to be a UW Michael G. Foster School of Business graduate. Yes, a little shout out to my compadres. We lucked out today with beautiful weather yet again, so I'm hoping a few of the shots we got next to the columns and fountains will turn out. (To be posted soon, along with Sean's this Friday.)

In the meantime here is a quick little video for the Dowell's to say THANK YOU! Sean and I are both super excited about the camcorder and I am sure we'll have lots of video to come.

Lastly a layout...Spitting image: Here are a few of my favorite photos of Liam at his first birthday party. Some how I managed to catch him looking straight into my camera for the large shot, he's just too cute. The other photos were hard to choose because there were so many good ones of him and Kim playing together but these were my favorite. Kim has two beautiful boys, her eldest, Braeden, looks just like his papa, Ryan, and her youngest, Liam is the spitting image of Kim - hence the title. I can not believe how grown up this little guy is compared to the last time I saw him - chasing his brother (the best he can) around with a foam sword! Last time he was just laying on his belly! I suppose they grow up quick, so I am glad we were able to celebrate his first birthday with him! Sketch is from Ali Edwards in the CK July 09 issue.
