Spring Fling.

I just happened to poke onto Jana Eubank's blog yesterday to find out that a 'Spring Fling' has begun at Back Porch Memories. Spring fling..online scrap retreat..Sean is gone all night..so I managed to get three layouts done - two of which I can show on here because the third is a surprise for someone in the future. Too fun! They have numerous challenges to pick and choose from and the grand prize is a 6 month subscription to their kit club, crossing my fingers that luck is on my side. haha


Cuddle Bugs: Oh Sean and Penelope, you probably think I snap too many photos of them but they are always being cute and cuddling. Here they are on Easter morning after baskets, egg hunt and breakfast, just relaxing together on the couch. I did this for the BPM challenge, Scrapping with the Stars, and I chose to use Cd Muckosky's layout as inspiration.


Cologne: I am STILL trying to finish up photos from my study abroad in Europe, BPM Scraplift with a Twist was the perfect challenge to get one page closer. TFloyd983003 posted just before me so I used her, Waves of Fun, layout as inspiration. I have some hidden journalling about Cologne: "Mariana & I decided to do a practice round before leaving for Italy, to Germany. We found each other's company lovely, money conscientiousness identical and with gelato in hand we roamed Cologne guided by our hostel's route. Up the tower, across the river and into the quiet parts of the city away from rowdy soccer fans." The trip was really a perfect transition into two weeks together.

Oh and a little about Easter. We had a lovely time at ma's house with Amy, Marcus & Andrew - of course we had a huge supper, dyed some boiled eggs, had an overly competitive egg hunt and lots of talking & laughter. It was a really nice relaxing day, though when we left I was already dozing off in the car on our ride home. I'll do a layout shortly, but here is a little video of "Nana" & Andrew playing a little Wii...air hockey I believe. Enjoy!
