Sean and I honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica at a Sandals resort for about seven days. We went to the airport late the night of our wedding and arrived in sunny Jamaica the following afternoon. It was a whirlwind leaving the airport and arriving at the resort, I was almost second guessing what we got ourselves into. But after a little sorting our we got settled in to a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the water. Sandals is one of those all inclusive resorts; free food, free drinks, free activities on site - basically the idea is to put your wallet away and enjoy the amenities. And yes, we did take full advantage. Snorkeling three times, taking out the hobie cat five times, attempting the water skis, plenty of ping-pong, lots of ice cream and you can bet we never skipped a meal. :) We also did a few extra activities; taking a tour in the country on dune buggies and then visiting Ocho Rios where we climbed Dunn River Falls and browsed a Montego Bay craft market on our way home. I think it was a great idea to put out a few extra bucks for these activities, not only to do some wonderful things but also because the long drives gave us a chance to see what Jamaica looks like outside the walls of our Americanized resort. All in all we had an amazing time relaxing on one of the world's finest beaches and being pampered with such words as 'madam'. Being the super ambitious (not to mention waiting employment with no CPA study materials) person I am, our honeymoon album is complete - 32 6x12 pages.
