Beginning of the end.

Today was the first day of our last quarter as undergraduates at the University of Washington. It's hard to believe that we've been here for four years already and are about to begin so called careers in mere months. No more half days of classes or weekends filled with homework for that matter. It will be a change, but I am excited to get into a new groove and begin a new chapter. On that daunting note I have a few lighthearted pictures to share from our 'camping' trip this past weekend.

Great Outdoors: Sean, Penelope and I went for a little weekend getaway in a cabin at Jim Creek. Only in Arlington could it rain, snow and then shine in a 24 hour period. Nevertheless, we roasted marshmallows, ate weenies and cuddled in our cozy cabin. We did venture out for a few short walks, but because of closures most of our exploring will have to wait for summer. It was a nice relaxing break before the start of our last quarter.

Roughing it: A few photos inside our quaint little cabin up at Jim Creek - Sean was the master of fire and all things related...that includes marshmallow roasting sticks obviously. Unfortunately, he also won a game of Old Maid. I was good at staying cozy under blankets with Plop and pointing at much needed things. haha This is Pencillines sketch #127 and HMITM challenge #102.
